On Tuesday 31st July 2007 our boulder was removed from Raynes Quarry, Llysfaen to the car park in Greenfield road. The boulder was donated by the quarry and I employed J.N.(Nick) Davis, a local Stonemason, to arrange transport and fit the Wireless College plaque once the boulder was in place.

The plaque was fitted 3rd August 2007.It looks small in the photo but is actually 18 inches wideand 12 inches high. The boulder weighs about 2 tonnes
The plaque is resin-bonded to the stone. The cement surround is still wet in these photos.
